Eco-friendly 1U servers

In our previous newsletter we introduced our Small 1U system; it was an affordable rack-mounted system with low processing power but at the same time it offered server-grade specifications such as integrated Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. This month we have introduced a second variation in the form of the Atom D510 processor. You could think of it as a 'nettop-like server' as it is low footprint, low noise and low power as it draws less than 45W at full load.

Both models are suitable for single purpose servers, appliances, routers/gateways, firewalls and/or entry-level servers. They take up minimal space and can sit on a desk as a small & flat system (with 'rack-mount ears' removed) or take up 1U of rack space (at 249mm deep). We summarise the features of both models below.
