The FatTwin maximizes compute performance and density with 4x identical hot-swap nodes each supporting dual Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 series processors, up to 512GB of memory in 16x DIMMs, PCI-E 3.0 expansion and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. Each node also supports 8x 3.5” hot-swap SAS/SATA HDDs for maximum storage capacity in 1U. This flexible and highly reliable platform offers 10% greater power savings than comparative systems and provides the perfect architecture to implement high density HDFS data nodes with 42U rack capacities ranging from 320 Terabytes up to 1.2 Petabytes. The FatTwin also includes hot-swap high-efficiency power supplies and cooling sub-systems.
